OUR NAME
HEREMA stands for Hellenic Hydrocarbons and Energy Resources Management Company. The HEREMA Wordmark is set in a deep blue denoting Greece’s national transition objectives. Rounded corners and a streamlined grid further reference a planet in transition to a cleaner energy future. The stylised “E” in the Wordmark brings to mind the blades of wind turbines in the sea.

The HEREMA symbol is an abstraction of the union of three molecule chains uniting in a spiral to create a dynamic concept of energy, highlighting the importance of using all low-carbon energy sources to accelerate Greece’s move to net zero carbon emissions, meet energy demand, and bolster energy security.
OUR COLOURS
Our logo brings together three colours that represent the full spectrum of energy technologies required on our move to net zero carbon emissions. The pink represents low-carbon fossil fuels, primarily natural gas, which is key to attain our energy transition goals. The blue chain represents alternative low-carbon energy sources like blue hydrogen and carbon-abating technologies such as carbon capture and storage. The green chain alludes to renewable energy sources like offshore wind.
