The Hellenic Hydrocarbons and Energy Resources Management Company (HEREMA) participated as exhibitor at EGYPES (Egypt Energy Show) 2025 that took place in Cairo on 17-19 February 2025.

EGYPES is the leading energy show in the Eastern Mediterranean, organized annually under the aegis of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The Show gathers the biggest companies across the energy industry, with the 2025 event being attended by 2,500 delegates and over 45,000 visitors.

During EGYPES, the HEREMA team led by CEO Aristofanis Stefatos, welcomed to its dedicated stand guests, visitors, partners and energy professionals, presenting to them the company’s mission and efforts – receiving high praise for its efforts thus far.

At the same time, significant meetings were held with leading organizations and companies of the energy sector, active across the HEREMA’s three strategic pillars: the exploration and production of hydrocarbons, the management of Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) projects, and the deployment of Offshore Wind Farms (OWF).

The highlight of HEREMA’s presence at EGYPES 2025, was its participation at the signing of the MoU on CCS between Greece and Egypt by the Minister of Environment and Energy, Theodoros Skylakakis, and the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Karim Badawi. As Greece’s licensing authority for the exploration and underground storage of gases and liquids, HEREMA will play a key role in the implementation of the MoU and coordination of the joint working groups from both countries.
