Inspection of the Offshore Installations in Prinos by HHRM
The Hellenic Hydrocarbon Resources Management (HHRM) completed an inspection of the hydrocarbon production facilities in the area of Prinos and South Kavala, in the framework of law 4409/2016 on the safety of offshore operations for exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons. The inspection was conducted by inspectors of HHRM SA, with the assistance of specialized inspectors of Lloyd’s, with international experience in the hydrocarbon industry. Part of the inspection was attended by the CEO of HHRM SA, Mr. Aristofanis Stefatos.
The inspection took place between 24 and 28 May and covered issues of well integrity in the Kappa platform of the field of N. Kavala and in the Alpha and Beta platforms of the Prinos complex. Issues of preparedness for emergency response were also covered.
HHRM SA inspects offshore hydrocarbon installations based on a program it designs on an annual basis, in order to effectively supervise them and ensure their compliance with Greek legislation. Regarding the recent inspection in Prinos, the CEO of HHRM, Mr. Stefatos, stated that:
