HHRM signed agreement with Hellenic Ship Owners Association of Tugs, Salvage, Antipollution and OSVs
The Hellenic Hydrocarbon Resources Management (HHRM) signed a cooperation agreement with the Hellenic Ship Owners Association of Tugs, Salvage, Antipollution and OSVs.
The two-year cooperation agreement concerns offshore safety issues for exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons:
– Determination of minimum technical specifications for support vessels involved in offshore hydrocarbon operations
– Drafting of legislation on the issues of categorization of support vessels involved in offshore hydrocarbon operations and requirements for their certification
HHRM is the Competent Authority for Offshore Safety in Oil and Gas Operations in Greece through Law 4409/2016.
