HHRM CEO, Mr. Aristofanis Stefatos gave an online lecture to the students of the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program ‘Energy Investments and Environment’ of the Department of Chemical Engineering of the University of the WEST MACEDONIA, on Friday, April 16, 2021.
The topic of the lecture was the exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons in Greece during the green transition and in this context, Mr. Stefatos referred to the contribution of natural gas in the era of green transition to new technologies for the production of energy from renewable sources and how they are combined with natural gas and energy sources and their overall impact on health, the environment, climate change and the economy. Addressing the students, Mr. Stefatos referred to the importance of know-how in the field of hydrocarbons by young scientists in Greece.
The lecture was an occasion for a fruitful dialogue between HHHRM and tomorrow’s scientists who attended it with particular interest, and as they characteristically stressed during the discussion that followed, the use of hydrocarbons will bring huge benefits for the coming years.
